2006 - Abbott Laboratories in Colombia awarded the certificacate of excellence and quality assurance in service. This Program certification was given using the Abbott Interntional evaluation and approval policy G-03-35-2.
2006 SGS recommended the certification of the Cali Converting Plant because it has implemented a quality assurance system as established in the ISO norm 001 2000.
2006 SGS awarded the certification of the Bogotá Corrugated Plant for its manufacturing of boxes and sheets as indicated in the ISO norm 9001. 2000.
2006 Enviromental Excellence Program PREAD of the Bogotá Major's Office and the Administrative Technical Department DAMA, awarded the Bogotá Plant for its work in Environmental Excellence.
2006 World BASC Organization awarded the certificate after the evaluation and approval of the security procedures used in the export operations in Bogotá and Cali corrugated plants.
2006 Award given by JGB S.A. to the Cali converting plant for its quality and service, making the Plant a Certified supplier in corrugated.
2006 Colombina, an important customer of the Cali Converting Plant awarded the certificate of preferred supplier for its quality and service in the supply of corrugated boxes.
2007 Johnson & Johnson awarded the Gold price in the manufacturing category as a result of the continuous improvement process to increase competitiveness.
2005 - The Bogotá City Mayor and DAMA award the Second Price to the SKCC Bogotá Plant for “The Organization leading to environmental excellence”.
2004 – For the fourth consecutive year, the Bogotá mill was honored in the category of “Generating Sustainable Development” the award granted by the City Mayor of Bogotá, and DAMA, as part of the District’s Environmental Excellence Program.
2003 – Again for the third consecutive year DAMA and the City Mayor of the Special District of Bogotá, granted the Environmental Excellence Award, as part of PREAD, for the Conservation of the environment, in the category of “Generating Sustainable Development”.
2003 – Environmental Award from the Smurfit Group worldwide, granted to the Industrial Byproducts Recycling Program.
2002 - This year for the second time, the Bogotá mill was worthy of the award “Generating Sustainable Development” in the Environmental Excellence category.
2001 - Winner of the Winners, Award granted by the Smurfit Group worldwide to the project “Paper from Eucalyptus Plantations”.
2001 – Prize “Generating Sustainable Development” in the maximum category, granted to the Bogotá Mill by the District’s City Mayor, for reaching zero industrial discharges.
1999 - Environmental Award, granted by the Smurfit Group to the corrugate plant in Bogotá, for the reduction of liquid effluents to zero.
1998 - The Smurfit Group grants to SCC Colombia the Environmental Award in recognition of the research on Podocarpaceae made in the country.
1996 – Chairman’s Environmental Award, granted to Colombia for its enterprises recycling program.
1993 - Environmental Award- Granted by the Smurfit Group Worldwide to Colombia for the cloning program in Eucalyptus grandis plantations.
1990 - Environmental Merit Medal, granted by ACODAL to Smurfit Cartón de Colombia S.A, for its program of conservation and care of the environment.
1988 – Ecologic Merit Medal granted by CVC.
